Running from 12 noon to 2pm, the business lunch meetings provide informal networking time, a sit-down lunch and the opportunity for women to promote their own business. The aim of Athena is to help women grow their businesses by sharing experiences, exchanging skills and giving and receiving referrals in a non-pressured environment.

At the meeting, guest speaker Julie Hall will talk about how and why she created Women Unlimited (www.women-unlimited.co.uk), an organisation which helps women support themselves through creating sustainable businesses. She says “Most businesses start with a passion of fulfilling a need and an entrepreneur is someone who takes that vision and turns it into a reality. I will be discussing how I took my passion for supporting women entrepreneurs and turned that into a strong business.”
