How do they keep doing it? I am talking about Manchester United.
Despite being away from home - and only four days after that bruising Carling Cup semi-final win over Manchester City, the Reds managed to turn over an Arsenal side who were really up for it.
Wayne Rooney looks unstoppable. But, if you are reading this Wayne, remember it is country before club, so please save a bit for South Africa.
The Gunners put up a brave performance, but United were too strong and seem to be able to bring out huge performances for the big occasions.
Elsewhere, as Chelsea won 2-1 in a tough match at Burnley, John Terry looked remarkably fresh despite his apparently active social life, popping up to score the winner.
At the other end of the table, Portsmouth’s lacklustre defeat at Manchester City leaves them in real danger of being cut adrift from the rest.
Liverpool also bagged a win, while Villa seem to be the pretenders to that precious fourth spot.
For the neutral, this has to be the most interesting season for a long while.
This week’s winner: Wayne Rooney - showing the world the player he promised to be five years ago.
This week’s loser: John Terry - not even a late goal can keep him off the front pages.
