Managers from under-fire rail company First Capital Connect (FCC) hosted a question and answer session with commuters today.

FCC managing director Neil Lawson, and other directors and managers, were at Tulse Hill station between 7.30am and 9.30am to answer passengers' question about the beleagured company's service.

FCC has been heavily criticised in recent weeks because of a string of problems that have heavily disrupted its services.

First a pay dispute with drivers, then a failure to deal with the recent snow, has led to Government ministers threatening to strip the rail firm of its franchise unless standards improve.

FCC has offered 10 days free travel as compensation to annual and monthly season ticket holders for the disruption. Weekly ticket holders with four weeks of tickets and eight weeks of tickets during the affected period are entitled to five days and 10 days of free travel respectively.
