With administrator Brendan Guilfoyle revealing there has been interest in Crystal Palace from potential buyers, we take a look at some of the people who might just be about to launch a bid for the club.

Ron Noades

Despite being widely criticised by fans for holding on to Selhurst Park when he sold the club to Mark Goldberg in 1998, most would now welcome his business sense back in the boardroom and the stability he gave the club. It seems unlikely he will make a move to become chairman again, though, but is willing to be a director if that suits whoever does buy the club.

Tony Fernandes

The Malaysian tycoon and boss of the Lotus F1 team missed out on taking over at West Ham last week after being pipped by David Gold and David Sullivan. He may now switch his attentions to Palace after revealing four teams outside the Premier League were chasing him to see if he would invest. Cagliari president Massimo Cellini and finance firm Intermarket also missed out on West Ham but are not thought to be interested in Palace.

Steve Bisciotti

The owner of American Football team Baltimore Ravens was said to be considering a bid for Palace, whose USA team is based in Baltimore. But, after the problems Manchester United have had with the Glaziers and Liverpool with Tom Hicks and George Gillett, would Bisciotti's arrival just spell more trouble for Palace in the future?

Al-Saadi al-Gaddafi

It might seem a little incredible but Colonel Gaddafi's son has been linked with a move to buy Palace before and is said to be eyeing a move for Portsmouth at the moment. It that fails to materialise he could look at the Eagles but it's probably never going to happen and is all just fantasy. He wouldn't be a welcome owner, either.
