An ex-pat has found hair happiness in Morden after crossing the globe to find the perfect wig.
Jane Martin moved from Ashtead in Surrey to Shanghai in 2008. But just over a year after making the move she discovered she was suffering hair loss caused by alopecia.
The 52-year-old said: “I didn't want to conceal my problem with a hat or a scarf, so I decided to search Shanghai for help and quickly discovered there were no decent wig shops in the city and nothing that would be appropriate.”
But after searching the internet, she decided to make a 6,000 mile trip to Joseph’s West End Hair Co in Bishopsford Road - where she was finally able to find the wig she wanted.
