Neil Warnock has hit out at some of the money being offered for his players at cash-strapped Crystal Palace.

Victor Moses signed for Wigan Athletic this morning and there have been enquiries for other Eagles players, including Southampton's bid for midfielder Neil Danns.

Although Warnock is not in control of what offers are accepted, he admitted he was not entirely happy with some of the figures that had been mentioned.

"Some of the offers we have had from other clubs for our players have been disgusting and pathetic," he said.

“I just hope whoever is in charge of the administration and accepting offers shows caution because I know what I would do with them.

"One Premier League club offered £1.5 million for Nathaniel Clyne and Moses.

“It is nothing to do with me now though, it is down to the administrators.

"It is out of my hands and no one has phoned me with offers, they have phoned the administrators, so we will have to see if any of those offers are accepted.

“If the players want to go then they will go and if they don’t then they will be here on Tuesday night against Wolves.”

In a week that could see a host of departures from SE25, Palace fans can be assured of one person remaining at the club for the imminent future, the manager himself.

After a meeting with the administrators Warnock quashed rumours he is leaving and reassured supporters that he intends to stay for the foreseeable future and urged the people in charge to secure the future of the club.

“I am enjoying it at the moment," he said.

"The administrators said they had no intentions of asking me or any of my staff to leave and that is how it is.

“The fans have been fantastic and I think they know they are in safe hands so we have to keep going and hope the administrator does his job right and tries to sell the club as quickly as possible.”
