Victor Moses finally completed his much-talked about move away from Crystal Palace today when he joined Wigan Athletic.

The striker has been linked with switches to Championship clubs Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and West Brom but was keen on a move to the Premiership and agreed a three-and-a-half year deal with the Latics this afternoon.

The fee is believed to be in the region of £2.5m, the money from which will help to secure Palace's future after they went into administration earlier this week.

Moses came through the Eagles' academy and made his début against Cardiff City in November 27 when just 17.

He went on to make 69 appearances for the club and score 11 goals.
