Putney residents honour Mr Benn
Inhabitants of Festing Road in Putney donned bowler hats in a tribute to the Mr Benn television show, which was set on their doorsteps.
On Saturday residents laid a commemorative stone to pay homage to the illustrator David McKee, who lived in the road during the 1970s.
It was during this time he created the Mr Benn cartoon character, which still lives on in the hearts of many the area.
