Putney Vale Cemetery in Stag Lane is inviting bereaved residents to leave messages for their loved ones this Christmas.
The messages will be placed on the Christmas tree which will stand in the Hall of Remembrance from Friday, December 4 to Wednesday, January 6.
Executive member for environment and leisure Sarah McDermott said: “Christmas can be a difficult time for those who have suffered a bereavement and leaving a message can be of some comfort.
“The service was first introduced last Christmas and we want to extend the opportunity to more residents this year.”
Writing materials are supplied at the chapel and staff will help residents place their messages on the tree.
For opening times visit wandsworth.gov.uk or call 020 8871 7820.
