Two Royal Russell schoolboys are dreaming of making it big into professional football.
Pepe Jesus, 11, is signed to Charlton Athletic’s academy having been spotted playing Sunday League football for Wickham Wanderers.
He has met professional players at the club, but intends to keep on playing the game he loves whether he makes it into the big time or not.
“I will still play Sunday League football no matter what,” said Pepe.
Meanwhile, 10-year-old Jayden Harris has linked up with Fulham after being spotted in open trials.
And if his dream does not come true?
“I will play basketball instead,” said Jayden.
Both boys train three times a week and play matches on Sundays.
