Due to nights becoming longer and the sun setting earlier, fears have risen that anti-social behavior may see an increase over the coming months.
Due to the festivities of Halloween and Bonfire Night earlier this month, the Metropolitan Police asked shopkeepers not to sell flour and eggs to anyone below the age of 18. This was due to fears that a "small minority" would ruin the holiday season for the rest of the population by taking advantage of people's holiday spirit to play pranks and vandalise property.
"It shows how little faith people have in us," Said Rishi Bhasi, a local teenager when asked his opinion on the matter.
Many local people are tense as they believe an increase in anti-social behavior is to be expected over the next few months; especially in youth crime.
One local shopkeeper who wishes to remain anonymous commented on how groups of young people "sit around outside of my shop causing trouble and only people who want to be noticed would stay out in the dark and cold."
In response to this view, Rishi Bhasi replied, "People always assume the worst in us, but I can't blame them; even I feel unsafe at times."
