People at this year’s Magical Molesey Christmas event in Walton Road on Saturday, December 5, will get the chance to win enough Tesco gift cards to buy their Christmas dinner.
Prizes on offer for the Christmas Hat competition include £100, £50 or £25 in Tesco gift cards.
Father Christmas will also be at the event, organised by the Walton Road Business and Traders’ Association and Molesey Residents’ Association and the shop with the best Christmas display will win a bottle of champagne, wine or chocolates.
The event begins at 10am and at 4pm there will be a carol service while the Christmas lights are turned on.
Marc Gregory, chairman of the Walton Road Business and Traders’ Association, said: “We hope the whole community will join us to enjoy a Christmas celebration.”
