An 11-year-old girl who went missing from Southfields was found after it was discovered she had updated her Facebook profile page.
Shannon Brown left her home in Beaumont Road at 1pm on Saturday, November 7, and was last seen an hour and a half later in Fulham.
However, according to police, she had access to a computer during the time she went missing as she updated her Facebook page with comments which made officers “most concerned” for her welfare.
Police revealed in the early hours of Monday that Shannon had been safe and well but it is unknown whether the Facebook comments led police to her location.
