Police are hunting two muggers who snatched a woman’s handbag as she walked alone in Southfields last week.
The victim was walking along Combemartin Road at about 7.10pm when she was approached by a hooded man who grabbed her handbag.
During the struggle, the woman fell to the floor and a second man appeared from behind her as she tried to keep hold of the bag. It was then she lost her grip on the bag and both thieves ran off towards Skeena Hill in Southfields.
Police describe the first man as a black man, aged between 18 and 25 years, 5ft 8in, of medium build wearing all black clothing with a hood up.
The second man, police say, is a black man who is aged between 18 and 25 years and is about 5ft 9in.
