Darren Ambrose scored his tenth goal of the season as Crystal Palace beat Middlesbrough 1-0 at Selhurst Park.
The winger latched on to Neil Danns' flick from Alan Lee's cross to calmly slot the ball past Brad Jones midway through the second half.
Lee had a header go just wide in the first half but Palace had keeper Julian Speroni to thank for the points.
The Argentine pulled off a superb stop from Gary O'Neill and claimed everything that came into his box.
Middlesbrough also had a four against one chance but Leroy Lita wasted it.
