An 18-year-old has admitted punching, kicking and stamping on another teenager.

Alex Fenton, 18, admitted at Kingston Crown Court on Monday, November 2, violent disorder in an incident this summer in Wimbledon.

His victim was out at 2.30pm on June 21, when he was confronted by a gang of young people who wrongly thought he was a member of a gang called TZ – Terror Zone.

He denied being part of the gang and managed to escape.

Shortly afterwards, he was at the bus stop when the girls from the group arrived, the court heard.

One of the girls called her boyfriend and complained that the victim was being abusive.

The group then ran to the bus stop and viciously assaulted him, the court heard.

Fenton was the last person to arrive.

He was seen on CCTV leaving his dog with a girl before throwing two punches, the court was told.

The first missed but the second knocked the teenager to the floor.

He then kicked, punched and stamped on the victim and left before police arrived, in a different direction to the others, some of whom were also convicted earlier this year.

Fenton, from The Crescent, Croydon, will be sentenced for the violent disorder offence at a later date.
