It was bottoms up for regulars at a pub when they stripped naked and posed for photographs to raise money for charity.
With some naked ambition, and thankfully a warm sunny day, a group of men from the Sportsman Pub in Mogador Road, Tadworth, got snapped with strategically placed items covering their modesty to produce a calendar.
Money raised from it will go to the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign to help build a brand new Children’s and Young Person’s Centre at the hospital’s Downs Road site in Sutton.
Producing a naughty Christmas calendar was the brainchild of pub regular Sue Ward with the support of pub proprietors Mark and Maureen Jones.
She said: “We got a wonderful response from our locals. There was a bit of apprehension at first but once it all got going, a great afternoon was had by all.”
Amanda Heaton, fundraising and community development manager at The Royal Marsden, said: “What a Christmas treat. In all the years I have worked for The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign, I don’t think we have ever had men strip naked and have their photographs taken for a calendar before.”
