Putney MP Justine Greening paid a visit to the All Saints’ Senior Social Group last week to catch up with some of her more experienced constituents.
The group, who meet every Monday, discussed a range of topics from Richmond Park parking charges to Heathrow expansion.
Despite only starting with four members a year ago, the ever-expanding group now regularly have up to 16 people in attendance.
Clemency Martin-Brown, who organises the meetings, said: “I think everyone was very impressed with Justine who gave us a clear vision of her role as a member of Parliament.”
To join the group, who meet at All Saints’ Church on Putney Common, please call Carolyn Biddick on 07964 593 879 on any weekday morning.
