Julian Speroni - Made three vital saves that were as important to Palace as the goals they scored. Stop from Burgess was world class. 8

Nathaniel Clyne - Recalled at right back and played well, attacking with pace and defending resolutely. 7

Danny Butterfield - First time ever playing at centre half and acquitted himself well, being voted man of the match by the sponsors. 7

Paddy McCarthy - Struggled a little against Burgess and could have done better for goal but did well considering he hadn't trained all week. 6

Clint Hill - Usual committed performance but little flair. Battled on well after early bloody nose. 6

Shaun Derry - Controlled the game in the middle of park and provided an excellent cross for second goal. No coincidence Palace's good run comes with his form. Man of the match. 8

Johannes Ertl - Great pass for Ambrose’s goal and did his job well throughout without being spectacular. Lost Baptiste for goal though and should have scored himself. 6

Neil Danns - Great header for goal and was full of running and tackles, controlling the game alongside Derry. 7

Darren Ambrose - Took his goal superbly despite suspicion of offside and worked for the team throughout. One of his better performances. 7

Alan Lee - Calm finish for opening goal to end Palace’s first half hoodoo. Tired after the break but understandable with three games in a week. 7

Sean Scannell - Looked uninterested a lot of the time and too lightweight, though he was carrying an injury. 5
