Old Georgians 6 Purley Walcountians 0
Purley Walcountians were thrashed in appalling weather conditions on Saturday to further dampen their prospects of promotion to the national league division.
Their second successive defeat now leaves them five points behind leaders City of Portsmouth in the South Premier Division.
The team's display on Saturday featured many good chances at the start, including Nick Champness striking a post. But Georgians scored a couple of early goals to dampen Purley's spirits and their chances of scoring became increasingly slim.
Georgians' defence held firm while Purley's became increasingly fragile as each goal went in.
This Saturday Purley play Beckenham in a local derby at home.
