A SCHIZOPHRENIC Polish woman died in her home after taking a cocktail of medication and alcohol.
Southwark Coroner's Court heard Marie Lees, 47, of Walmer Terrace, Plumstead, was found by social workers after neighbours said they had not seen her for days and her dog was barking repeatedly.
She was found slumped on her sofa on September 22 last year.
Born in Poland, she had suffered years of mental illness, according to a psychiatric report read to the court.
Pathologist Dr Peter Jerreat said Miss Lees had taken a combination of alcohol and medication which proved fatal.
At the inquest on February 11, coroner Selena Lynch said: "I suspect she has taken an overdose deliberately to end her life but it has to be an open verdict, as I don't know."
