Julian Speroni: World class stop from Adebayor kept Palace in the game. His kicking was a bit off but the defence looked a lot more secure with him behind them. Man of the match. 9

Nathanial Clyne: Given the task of keeping Robinho quiet and more than managed it in a mature performance from the youngster. 8

Jose Fonte: Got close to Adebayor and rarely gave him a sniff. Took the initiative in driving forward too. 8

Paddy McCarthy: Best performance of the season so far and looked solid. 8

Clint Hill: Got stuck into Stephen Ireland three times in the first half and maybe should have been booked. Left exposed for first goal but generally solid. 8

Shaun Derry: Was marking Tevez for his goal which marred an otherwise good and tenacious performance. Had two chances to score but missed them both. 7

Alassane N’Diaye: Unperturbed by the fact he was planning against Gareth Barry and looked a threat, despite drifting out of the game a few times. 8

Neil Danns: Got stuck in but ran out of steam at the start of the second half. Should have had a penalty in the last minute. 7

Darren Ambrose: His free kicks and corners were super but he doesn’t always offer much else and can’t take on the full back. Should have scored in the second half too. 6

Victor Moses: Palace’s best outfield player and had Richards and Bridge running scared. It would be a shame if that was his last Eagles performance. 8

Freddie Sears: Full of running up front and didn’t give Toure and Lescott a moment’s peace. Desperately needs to get his first goal though. 8

Subs: Sean Scannell (Sears, 72): Made a couple of good runs. 6 Ryan Smith (Ambrose, 72): Again a few good runs but looked a touch lightweight. 6

Nick Carle (Moses, 80): Not enough to win back his starting place. 5
