Giant stilt-walking jockeys brightened up Epsom High Street when the Wilkinson store reopened on Friday after a makeover.
The transformation was celebrated with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the High Street store by the deputy mayor Councillor Alan Winkworth, Wilkinson family director Lisa Wilkinson and store manager James Bevan.
Balloons and facepainting kept children entertained while their parents had a chance to look round the store.
Wilkinson has named two charities to benefit from donations from the company, Epsom Riding for the Disabled and the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice.
