A man was left in a serious condition after being stabbed in the chest in a busy Croydon street on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old victim was attacked outside of the Tiger Tiger nightclub at about 6pm.
A police spokesman said: “Police were called at about 6.15pm on Tuesday, August 18 to reports of a man stabbed in High Street, junction with George Street, Croydon.
“On arrival police discovered a man suffering from injuries to his chest. He was taken by ambulance to a South London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
“A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We were called at 6:15pm to George Street, Croydon to reports of a stabbing.
"We sent two ambulances, a fast response car, a duty manager and the air ambulance.
“One man reported, to be 32-years-old, was taken to hospital as a priority.”
