Tooting’s long-awaited TK Maxx store will open on Thursday morning in the old Primark building.
The store in Tooting High Street boasts 16,000 sq ft of bargain designer gear, from clothes to homeware.
Bosses claim 90 new jobs have been created for the area.
The chain, which sells items for up to 60 per cent of their recommended retail value, promises new stock every week.
Spokesman Lucy McGonigle said: “We are so excited to finally open our doors to the shoppers of Tooting.
“The store is packed with hidden gems and there is something for everyone in there.
“Check out the shoe department that we are particularly proud of, and remember our daily deliveries mean we have fresh new stock coming in everyday so shoppers will never be bored.”
Primark moved to the old Marks & Spencer site in Mitcham Road, Tooting, in May.
