A doctor greeted her patients in style last week with a reception at Croydon's Hilton Hotel.
Dr Shiba Hameed, of Heathfield Surgery in Heathfield Road, was joined by patients and staff, as well as pharmacists and representatives of the local medical council.
Croydon South MP Richard Ottaway attended as guest of honour.
Dr Hameed said she wanted to thank her patients for continuing to support the surgery.
