Summer sunshine, Tiger beer and the tastes of Singapore’s unofficial national dish are coming to the Big Chill Bar in London’s East End this weekend.

From noon on Saturday and Sunday, the Tiger Beer Chilli Crab Tour brings together top DJs to entertain while chefs produce fresh chilli crab eaten using the crab’s claw, all washed down with Tiger beer.

Having already scuttled into Glasgow and Brighton, the London leg promises to be one of the highlights of the tour, with partner restaurant Awana offering a taste of its fine-dining on the day.

Laura Mitchell, brand manager for Tiger, said: “We’re looking forward to building on the incredible success of the Tiger beer chilli crab festival of previous years to create an even more exciting and eclectic series of events which highlight Tiger’s heritage as a Far Eastern beer with real depth.

“Previous years have seen the festival exclusively held in London, and we’re pleased with how it has been embraced in the capital. Now, however, we’re bringing it to key cities across the UK.”

The London event, including DJ sets by Cosmic Truth, Ashley Beedle, Reverse 68 and more, runs from noon to midnight on Saturday and noon to 4pm on Sunday.
