Streatham residents of different religious faiths are being asked to come together to discuss ways in which policing affects them.
Streatham Wells safer neighbourhoods team (SNT) is hosting a ”faith advisory group” to give people from different religious beliefs the chance to discuss community issues together.
PCSO David Holland from the SNT said: “The blend of cultures and faiths within Lambeth is an excellent resource for us, as a safer neighbourhoods team, to draw on.
“We are extremely eager to make connections with different religious groups so that we can police the area with these groups in mind to satisfy everyone’s needs.”
The hour long event is due to take place this Thursday in the Sackville Hall on the Sackville Estate, SW16, at 12noon.
