The owner of the McDonald’s restaurants in Balham, Mitcham, Sutton and Peckham is co-hosting a free open football day on Saturday, August 22 (10am-4pm), which will be attended by Sir Geoff Hirst.
Mike Smith is hosting a McDonald’s Football Open Day on Peckham Rye Common at which the FA Community Shield, recently won by Chelsea, will be on display.
Mike is the chairman of Peckham Town FC and has been sponsoring grassroots football for nearly a decade.
“I am really looking forward to giving young people the opportunity to showcase their skills,” said Smith.
