Sutton town centre is finally keeping step with the street dance craze set off by the boys from Diversity on Britain’s Got talent.

Youngsters were rushing to practise headspins and backflips when a new school was launched in the high street on Saturday.

Shortstepperz, opposite Costa coffee, is run by dance graduate Natalie Fisher with teachers who have worked with Kylie Minogue and Blue.

Adults can also learn the acrobatic hip-hop moves or take weekly classes in Zumba, a Latin-dance aerobics workout.

Natalie said: “All classes are taught by elite choreographers and teachers who are fully trained in many styles of dance, including jazz, tap, Bollywood, dancehall and ballet, although the focus is on street dance and hip-hop.

“Our aim is to reach out to every individual and tailor to their needs. No matter your ambition, we provide fun, friendly and motivational classes.”
