Job hunters and volunteers can take their first step towards a new future next week.
A recruitment, training and volunteering fair will take place in Mitcham next Friday.
A spokesman for organisers Volunteer Centre Merton said: “The focus of the fair is to give Merton residents, who may be unemployed, advice, support and access to the many local services and organisations that can help in the routes into paid work.”
Organisations including Job Centre Plus, Merton Adult Education and Merton College will be on hand to give advice and information.
The event will run from 10.30am to 5.00pm on Fair Green.
