Lambeth have been crowned girls football champions at the Balfour Beatty London Youth Games.

Members of the winning team were: Martha Ewas (Bishop Thomas Grant Catholic Secondary School), Jazz Gordon-Maddix (St Martin in the Fields High School for Girls), Freda Ayisi (Lambeth Academy), Saraphena Mcdonald (Lambeth Academy), Arimede Okenkule (Charles Edward Brooke School), Shanno Lawa (Lilian Baylis School), Tanicia Spreadbury (Lilian Baylis School), Obiaku Oparaocha (Charles Edward Brooke School), Diana Poveda (La Retraite Roman Catholic Girls School), Natalia Lewis (out of borough), Esther Simpson (St Martin in the Fields High School for Girls), Shenise Latty (La Retraite Roman Catholic Girls School), Naomi James (Dunraven School), Aiyana Glaze (St Martin in the Fields High School for Girls), Zoe Cummins (La Retraite Roman Catholic Girls School), Kate Martin (Charles Edward Brooke School), Kace Bartley (St Martin in the Fields High School for Girls), Delaela Olympio (Stockwell Park School).

Lambeth also claimed bronze in both the girls and boys basketball competitions and the boys’ table tennis.

Overall, Lambeth finished 20th out of the 33 boroughs in the championship standings.
