Chertsey Town crank up for the start of the coming football season on Saturday (July 11), with a home fixture against Staines Lammas at 3pm.

There will be a quick return to Alwyns Lane the following Tuesday (July 14), with Staines Town as the visitors.

The match against the newly promoted Blue Square South side will kick off at 7.45pm.

Town have been drawn away to fellow Combined Counties League side Chessington & Hook United in the opening round of the FA Cup but are exempt in the FA Vase until the first round proper, which kicks in during October.

The League season for Chertsey Town starts on August 8 but further pre-season warm-up matches will be played, including games against Hampton & Richmond Borough and Beaconsfield SYCOB.
