Your local safer neighbourhood team could have a new name under council plans.
The council is looking at rebranding the teams to fit more with the areas that they serve.
There are currently 25 safer neighbourhood teams in Croydon, one for each electoral ward.
But cabinet member for safety and cohesion Councillor Gavin Barwell wants them to be downsized to reflect different areas in Croydon.
He says residents get confused as to which ward they are in as the boundaries are not geographical.
He added he planned to reduce the number of areas, redistributing the number of officers into the new sections.
The idea is still in its infancy but could go ahead by the end of the year.
