'Friendly' Balham burglar sought by Wandsworth police
A burglar with a “friendly” approach to his victims is being sought by police.
The man, who struck in Balham last month, is said to climb through people’s windows before asking them politely to hand over their valuables.
Police are looking for black man in his 20s who was wearing dark clothes with a hooded top and gloves.
He stole £1,000 worth of valuables from a woman in Balham on Saturday, June 20, saying he needed her laptop because he was a drug addict.
Officers have linked him to two other break-ins in Brixton and Herne Hill.
