Green fingered competitors battled it out for awards and prizes at the weekend.
Flower fans took part in the Mitcham Horticultural Society’s summer show.
Event organiser Bob Vickers said: “Some 124 exhibits were on display including begonias, fuchsias, roses, cut flowers and some amazing floral art, which overall made a very colourful event enjoyed by everyone who attended.”
The show was held at St Mark’s Church in St Mark’s Road on Saturday. Award winners included Joan Prior, Peggy Baillie, Fred Madden, Gordon Adams, Gordon McLeod and Blanch Cassell.
Jean Russell scooped two prizes and Bob Vickers claimed three.
