Can you solve the mystery of the whereabouts of a bronze arch over the gateposts of Surbiton Hospital?
Hospital campaigner Peter Bell is convinced it has gone missing.
A spokesman for the hospital said the arch had come down 25 to 30 years ago.
But Mr Bell, who remembers being cycled to the hospital in his and its infancy, said: “Rubbish. I remember seeing it in the past six months. It hasn’t been gone 30 years.
“It is very serious if that has disappeared. Somebody has got to know about it.”
Two weeks ago Kingston NHS was forced to apologise after contractors drilled signs into a commemorative wall put up in 1935 to celebrate the silver jubilee of King George V and Queen Mary.
