The Summer Picnics Concerts series is returning to Hampton Pools at the end of July with Hayley Westenra, the Puppini Sisters and Paul Carrack all set to perform.
Carrack, who has enjoyed a succesful solo career and been a member of Roxy Music, Squeeze and Mike Mechanics, will perform at the Hampton High Street venue on July 25. This will be followed on July 31 with a concert by the Puppini Sisters, whose jazzy harmonising will be backed by the sounds of the Lyttelton Band.
The line-up also features the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain (July 18), a Motown review show (July 17) and a Beatles and Rolling Stones tribute (July 24). The run of concerts will be brought to close by 21-yeard-old soprano Hayley Westenra, who will be accompanied by the Raven Quartet and Tim Evan for her show on August 1.
