Elderly residents are having a smashing time taking part in a Nintendo Wii tennis competition in their Weybridge nursing home.
Staff at Bupa’s Sutton Lodge decided to start the competition and provide fresh strawberries to give the residents a taste of Wimbledon.
Home manager Jackie Tout said: “We’ve got Wimbledon fever here so we thought we’d give it a go ourselves.
“While we may not be up to Andy Murray’s speed, we’re really getting into the spirit and as we keep joking, ‘It’s going to be ace’.”
