A shooting in a busy high street may have been witnessed by bus passengers heading for King Street.

Police are hoping to speak to people who were on board a 237 bus which was near the scene of the shooting in Chiswick High Road at around 8.15pm on Saturday.

A 31-year-old man who was shot in the forearm has now been discharged from hospital.

One man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, and officers from the Met’s Operation Trident are investigating.
