Chipstead have been handed a reprieve after it was confirmed today they would be playing Ryman League football next season.
The High Road club, who announced Mark Tompkins as their new manager on Thursday, finished second bottom of Division One South and should have been relegated to the Combined Counties.
However, a number of clubs higher up the league pyramid have been forced to withdraw because of money issues meaning Chips have been saved from relegation.
Bottom club Crowborough Athletic were still relegated with Horsham Y.M.C.A taking their place, while Chatham Town have been switched from the North Division to the South.
Ramsgate will be the other new side in the league following their relegation from the Premier Division.
