A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with an arson which destroyed a football pavilion.
A 17-year-old boy, from Fetcham, was arrested and has been released on police bail until Monday, 20 July, pending further enquiries.
The fire occurred at about 5.40am on Thursday, 21 May, destroying the new football pavilion on Kingston Road, which was only officially opened last month.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have any information regarding this incident and are asking people to contact officers at Surrey Police on 0845 125 2222 quoting reference MV/09/2330 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
