Police are appealing for witnesses to a road accident which left a teenager with serious head injuries.

The crash, in Lansdowne Road, happened on Friday April 3 at around 2pm.

The number 367 bus, travelling down Lansdowne Road, was in a collision with the girl.

She was taken to hospital with serious head injuries but has since been released and is thought to be recovering from her injuries.

The driver of the bus, a 46-year-old man, was arrested for dangerous driving and has been bailed to return to a south London police station in August 2009.

The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Criminal Justice Unit based at Sidcup.

Police are particularly keen to speak to anybody who was a passenger on the bus to help them with their investigations.
