Commuters now have extra time to claim refunds if they have been overcharged on their Oyster cards.
Transport users who realise they have been overcharged on the pay-as-you go system can now demand a refund up to 28 days after the error occurred.
Transport watchdog London Travelwatch demanded an extension to the previous 14 day limit from Transport for London after being contacted by dozens of angry users.
But Sharon Grant from London Travelwatch said many users still had no idea they were being overcharged.
She said: “Occasional users of the system need to check their statements to ensure that they are not owed money.”
