Two of the Guides take to the lake
Hundreds of Guides made a big splash during a day of activities in Wimbledon.
Girls from across Merton were joined by others from Kingston, Twickenham, Belmont, Richmond, Sutton, Cheam and Wallington for the event at Wimbledon Park Lake.
Around 300 guides took part in activities including sailing, canoeing, orienteering and crazy golf during the activity day on May 16.
Christine Wicks, the organisation’s county commissioner, said: “Despite the blustery conditions they all had a marvellous time and a number even queued up to jump in the lake as a finale.”
