Youngsters got their kicks in Sutton town centre at the weekend, as Crystal Palace FC coaching staff held a very public training session, promoting awareness of all-weather five-a-side football pitches at the Goals Sutton centre.
Shoppers were able to win vouchers and prizes by dribbling around cones and demonstrating their keepy-uppy skills.
Schools and community groups are not charged to use the all-weather Goal facilities in London Road, North Cheam, outside peak hours, but uptake has been poor, despite Government recommendations that children should do an hour of activity outside school.
