A Croydon company is celebrating 20 years of business, bucking the trend of the economic gloom.
Just as the Berlin Wall was coming down in 1989 and the tanks rolled into Tiananmen Square, TRS Graphics was formed and began trading by the current owner, Tony Gallagher.
The company started life in South End, Croydon as typesetters.
Over time the business moved premises closer towards the centre of Croydon and now occupies a retail shop opposite Leon House.
In 2003, Tony took the decision to take on the printing.com franchise and now the business consists of magazine formatting, all types of printing and more recently, promotional material including pens and polo shirts.
In these uncertain economic times and after reaching his 20th anniversary Tony said his continuing success was down to “quality products, quality service, friendly and helpful staff”.
He lives by his company slogan of “it’s on time or it’s on us”.
