An Isleworth man has died after a motorbike crash during rush hour last Friday.

Dimitrijius Usas, 32 was riding a Suzuki GSXR1000 motorbike when he collided with the central reservation barrier on the westbound elevated section of the A40 above Westbourne Park Tube station.

He was pronounced dead at the scene just before 5:40pm.

A postmortem examination confirmed his cause of death was due to multiple injuries caused by the collision.

Witness to the accident are being urged to come forward and contact the Met Police’s Central Traffic Collision Investigation Unit on 020 7388 6808.

A spokesman for the London Ambulance service, said: "We were called just after 5.20pm to reports of a road collision involving a motorbike on the A40. We sent an ambulance and two fast response cars to the scene but sadly a man reoprted to be 35 years was announced dead at the scene."

An air ambulance was also dispatched.
