Yet again bright colours are in fashion except this year it is all about bright clashing colours. The good news for us, in this current economic climate, is that we can easily update last year’s clothes by adding bright clashing accessories. However, if funds allow you could invest in something new but remember that not all colours suit everyone. So if you are tempted to splash out and buy that ‘must have two-tone dress’ in pink and red, remember that colours should harmonise with your natural colouring.
Choose a colour, or dominant colour, in a pattern that compliments your skin tone and does not overwhelm you. For those of you who are unsure, err on the side of caution and wear the bright colours on the lower half of the body and stick to safe colours around your face. Accessories are another great way of updating a wardrobe without spending too much, look out for shoes and bags in fabulous colours such as pink, orange and green. These colours cannot fail to brighten up your day!
