It’s the Easter holiday and already boredom has kicked in, what can I do that doesn’t take up a lot of energy but gets me out the house for a while? Sitting down; my dog looks at me. That’s an idea I’ll take him over the park for a bit. Walking over I realise how lucky I am to have a park just around the corner from where I live, once I’m over the park I let Frankie have a run around chasing his tennis ball and simultaneously coming back for it to be thrown again. Looking around parks aren’t just for kids to hang around, dog owners slowly make their way round the park making small talk as they go along. Being over the park for the short thirty minutes made me feel like I had done something useful with my time and being there gave me a small satisfaction that I knew I would be back tomorrow.
